He is survived by: his children, Patrick Murphy, Jr. and Erin Sherron (Josh) of Indianapolis, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Patrick Murphy III, Kara Murphy, Madelyn Murphy and Holden Sherron; and his siblings, Francis (Sheila), Peter (Kathleen), Mary Gaul and Catherine Rogers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home - South (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (234 Pleasant St, Weymouth, MA 02190).
