He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalie Rolfsen; and his parents, George Rolfsen and Magdeline Rolfsen (Wittekind). He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Susan Rolfsen), Chris (Kathy Rolfsen), Debbie (Greg Rolfen-Klein) and Mike (Stephanie Rolfsen); and his grandchildren, Chad, Shelby, Eric, Krystle, Kaiti, Robbie, Meredith, Greg, Michael, Erin, Emma, Ava, Charlie, Tyler and Kyle. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the O'Riley - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Roch Catholic Church (3600 S Pennsylvania St, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143).
