He was predeceased by: his parents, Gil Vigil and Marcelina Vigil (Chavez); his aunt Paulita Garcia (Chavez); his uncle Epifano (Ephraim); his stepson Jeffery Lee; his brother Manuel (Ida); his nephew Dennis; his grandson Logan (Carole); and his niece Deanette (Francis).
He is survived by: his wife Carole Kozderka; his sister-in-law Ida; his nephew Larry (Patricia); his nieces, Loretta (late Ray) and Dinah (Rudy); his uncle Antonio Chavez of Pacifica, CA; his aunt Teresita Chavez (late Max); his daughter Elaine Loya (Mike); his stepchildren, Mike Vantyle, Jay Vantyle (Kathy), John Kinsner and Julie Kinsner; his great grandchild Damon Logan Conner; and his caregiver Kolbee Orona.
He was thoughtful and though he never was a man of wealth, he always provided for others, sending his daughter to parochial school and donating to charitable organizations.
