She was predeceased by: her sister Patricia Dickerson; and her parents, John Marlin and Marion Tygret Marlin. She is survived by: her husband Michael Kalk; her daughters, Amy Kalk of Indianapolis and Anna Kalk of Oregon; her granddaughter Holly Kalk of Fishers, IN.; and her brothers, David Marlin (Sally) and John Marlin (Denise). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Penny's memory to the American Heart Association or a church of the donor's choice.
