She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Brinson and Lola Brinson (Baugh); her son Steven McClellan; and her granddaughter Brandy Brock. She is survived by: her children, Howard Sims (Sue), David Sims (Shawn), Brett McClellan and Cheryl Smith; her grandchildren, Melissa Harris, Brandy Wright, Lee Sims, Lacy Sims, Dwight Sims, Sarah Siebers, Sydney Laros, Lia Smith and Tyler McClellan; and her great grandchildren, Graclyn Cothrum, Coltston Cothrum, Hunter Colthrum, Allie Wright, Jamison Wright, Grayson Sims, Maxwell Sims, Scotland Sims, Isabell Sims, Chevelle West, Alyssa Odle, Mackenzie Menzie, Kelsie Reeder, Parker Sims, Justisse Garrett and Amylah Folsem. She is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren; and many other loving extended family.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society, a cause close to Phyllis' heart.
