She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kundan Lal and Shakuntala Duggal; her husband Dr. Hitwant Sidhu; her children, Dr. Rachna Choudhry (Umesh) and Dr. Rashmi Recinto (Robert); and her grandchildren, Vishesh, Veer Choudhry, Shivani and Krishan Recinto.
