With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ralph Derrill Freund of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Freund and Iona Glidewell Freund; his daughter-in-law Kim; his granddaughter Katie; his stepdaughter Shelly; and his siblings, Ruth and Bob.
He is survived by: his close friend Peg Alexander; his children, Tim Freund (Rea Watson) and Terri Shedd (John Southerland); his grandchildren, Jackie, Kristen, Robyn, Danielle and Brad; and his children, Juniper and Wren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Flanner Buchanan Funeral Home (5463 Kentucky Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46221). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the West Newton Cemetery (6701 Milton St, Indianapolis, IN 46221).
