He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stidham and Zola Stidham (Campbell); his siblings, Claude, Estes, Wilgus (Bill), Helen Fugate and Rose Hatcher; and his daughter-in-law Melanie Stidham.

He is survived by: his wife Elnora Stidham; his sons, Garry (Cindy) and Steve Stidham; his grandchildren, Ericka Study (Alan), Jennifer Pugh (Eric), Kelly Addair (Quentin), Nicholas Mayes (Nicole), Olivia Lang (Mike) and Hayden Stidham; and his brother Donald Stidham. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
