He is survived by: his mother Emogene Willams (Richard); his siblings, Mary Delores Cheshier, Yvonne Williams, Clementine Allensworth, Dalewayne Cheshier, Cubby "Kirby" Cheshier, Ivan and Biff Burnett; his children, James Cheshier, Aliscia Cheshier Howard (Danny Ray) and Suzanne Michael; his grandchildren, James Jr., Aaliyah, Jayvon, Jamiyah, Jaycion, Mario, Mikel, Tristen, Allison, King, Rayven and Darian; his sisters, Brenda Cheshier, Beverly Cheshier, Rhonda Jones and Kristy Herron (James); his stepsister April Shaw; his brothers, Ernest Chesier, Steve Cheshier, Ozias Burnett and Victor Burnett; and his great-uncles, Oliver Croom (Cheryl) and Tracy Croom. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, loving family and friends.

He did many charity rides, his favorite being the Miracle Ride.
