She was predeceased by : her parents, E. J. Van Treese and Jeanette A. Cardelucci Van Treese. She is survived by : her husband Mark A. Bennett, Sr.; her siblings, Janis M. Smith, Richard J. Van Treese (Connie) and Joel M. Van Treese (Judy); and her brother-in-law Dan P. Smith. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel (4925 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN 46224). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
