She was predeceased by: her son Walter (Tricia). She is survived by: her children, Denise (Peter), Todd (Monica), Deborah, Kent (Jen) and Cybil (Ricky); her grandchildren, Caitlin, Devon, Quinton, Marriel, Reese, Amari, Avery, Holland, Myles and Luke; her great grandchildren, Luca and Elijah; her sisters, Florence Brown (James), Lillia Mae and Lanora Summersett; and her friends, Dorothy Shannon and Lena Sprowl. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Christ Temple (430 W Fall Creek Pkwy N Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46208). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Washington Park East Cemetery (10612 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229).
