He is survived by: his children, Tammy Hurt (Steven Crockett), Jennifer Hurt-Wheeler (Mark Wheeler), Anthony Hurt and Jason Hurt; and his sister Marsha Owens (Roosevelt). He is also survived by three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
