She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Kelter; her parents, Joseph Markowski and Josephine Casey (Sadowski); and her siblings, Carl, Gerald, Joseph, Peter Markowski and Alice Gorgoni.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Fricke (Duane), Michael Kelter (Pam), Steven Kelter (Louise) and Paul Kelter (Mary); and her grandchildren, Eric Fricke (Kristin), Ryan Fricke (Meghan) and Nicole Peters (Justin).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the O'Riley - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory (6107 S East St, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A prayer will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (535 E Edgewood Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in Rita's name may be made to the donor's choice.
