It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roald T. Smith (Indianapolis, Indiana), born in Suffern, New York, who passed away on December 20, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thorsten Smith and Esther Mildred Smith (Travis). He is survived by: his children, Erik Smith (Shari), Ian H. Carter (Sarah Kaplan) and Kat Henschen (B. C.); his brothers, Robert Smith and Richard Smith (Janell); and his siblings' children, Joel Smith (Meade), Nathaniel Smith, Jeffrey Smith and Cindy Arias (Tony). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
