With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robbie Lee Cox of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Burkesville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 16, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Capps and Mary Groce Capps; her husband Jerry Dean Cox; her brothers, Fred, Herman and Bob Capps; her grandson Ryan Wheeler; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Wade Wheeler.
She is survived by: her former husband Wendell G. "Glenn" Wheeler, Sr.; her children, Wendell G. "Buddy" Wheeler, Jr. (Candida Lear), Joseph Dean Wheeler (Donna), Victor Lewis Wheeler (Joni), Anthony Ray Wheeler, Christopher Lee Wheeler (Dawn) and Audrey Louise Wheeler-White; and her siblings, Valis Moore, Vicki Viane and Jesse Capps. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and many other beloved family members and friends.
