We bid farewell to Robert Hixon of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 10, 2025 at the age of 83. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Hixon; his son Ricky Hixon; and his siblings, Keith, Cecil Hixon, Patsy Ellis and Johnnie Hall.
He is survived by: his son Robert Lee Hixon, Sr.; his sister Sue Burchfield; and his grandchildren, Randy Hixon, Robert HIxon, Jr., Heather Hixon, Ricky Hixon, Jr. and Ciera Hixon. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Usher Funeral Home (2313 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46222). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
