It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Leon Mitchell of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Martinsville, Indiana, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Mitchell and Bernice Mitchell (Norman); and his siblings, Charles, Larry Mitchell, Marsha Jo Newman and Izetta Mitchell.

He is survived by : his son Robert Mitchell; and his brothers, Randy Best of Martinsville, IN and Danny Mitchell (Susan) of Buchanan, TN..

A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Union Cemetery.
