He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wente and Jan Haven Wente; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Dudine and Steve Maas. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Dudine Wente; his sons, Eric Roman and Kurt Haven; his sister Joan Bauerlein; and his siblings-in-law, Don Dudine, Anne Maas and Jane Fischer (Chuck). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
