He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Nelson and Grace Murray Nelson of LaGrange, Indiana.. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Nelson (Taylor) of Indianapolis; his daughters, Jill Howell of Tipton and Ann Applegate of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Max Wallace, Eva Applegate, Henry Wallace, Mallory Applegate and Sam Howell; and his siblings, Craig Nelson (Linda) of Fort Wayne and Karen Helmkamp (Thomas) of LaGrange.
