He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Stewart and Lillian Stewart; and his siblings, David Stewart, Jerry Stewart and Linda Hall.

He is survived by: his wife Paula Stewart; his stepdaughter Angela Scott; his stepgrandchildren, Evan Scott and Erin Orme; his brother Russell Stewart; and his siblings-in-law, Bethal Hall, Marsha Stewart and Sharon Stewart. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great and great-great nieces and nephews, as well countless friends.
