He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Stead (Joshua Stead), Miranda Shipley, Russell Shipley II (Jennifer) and Jennifer Mosier; his grandchildren, Christina, Krista, Kara, Joshua II, Haylee, Russell III and Madelyn; and his great grandchildren, Liliana and Jaxon. He is also survived by nieces, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Indiana Funeral Care (925 E Hanna Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
