It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Allie Elkins (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ruth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Allen and Lillie McKinley Richards (Jackson); her husband Maurice Elkins; and her son Bruce. She is survived by: her children, Ron (Gabrielle Bovenzi), Mike, Randy and Connie. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
