We bid farewell to Ruth Strobel in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 22, 2025 at the age of 82. Ruth touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cyril Kleaving and Frieda Kleaving (Dauby); her husband Paul J. Strobel; her daughter Lisa Marie Strobel; and her sister Mary Edith Fortwendel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Strobel-Sanders (Dave) and Janet Strobel McFarland (Chris Pate); her granddaughter Natalie Sanders; and her siblings, Gilbert Kleaving (Margie), Esther Goffinet (Duane) of Tell City and Glenda Gogel (Jerry) of Tell City.
In honor of her husband's Paul military service, the family wishes memorial contributions would be made to the Veterans of Perry County or the Honor Flight of Southern Indiana.
