He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russell and Betty Lou Bowen (Rich); and his brothers, Daniel and Mark Bowen. He is survived by: his children, Samuel S. Bowen and Michelle Bowen; and his siblings, Timothy, John "Junior", Charlie Bowen and Sharon Bowen.
