Samuel leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Samuel’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Samuel will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul "Goldie" Voland and Alice "Todd" Voland (Hoy); and his sister Virginia "Jenny" Sorenson. He is survived by: his brother Paul "Sonny" Voland; and his children, Vanessa Pfeifle, Valerie Schultz (Greg) and Sammy Voland. He is also survived by grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dye's Walk Country Club (2080 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.
