She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mencer and Elsie Mencer; her former husband Albert Gazvoda; her husband Claude Newhouse (Randy Sutherland); her sons, Vaughn and Frankie Gazvoda; and her siblings, Susan Wall, Stephen Mencer, Sherry Ann LeClercq and Stanley Mencer.
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Gazvoda (Debbie), Virginia "Ginny" Gazvoda (Randy Jent) and Albert "Alvy" Gazvoda (Monta); her brother Stewart Mencer; and her sister-in-law Nancy Mencer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (925 E Hanna Av, Indianapolis, IN 46227). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Round Hill Cemetery (5235 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
