With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Scott A. Walter of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Scott left this world on June 18, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Walter and Bernice Walter (Moody); and his siblings, Lou Ann Wickett and Jack Walter. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Walter (Johnson); his children, Douglas Walter (Lisa), Lynn Lovelace (Thomas) and Kurt Szalay (Scott); his grandchildren, Shelby, Mckenzie, Caitlyn, Ray, Mariah, Matthew, Zoey, Diana, Isaac and Skylar; his great grandchild August; and his sister Beverly Clark.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Ive seen them many times and they were always awesome but the one that sticks out is when seeing them in Akron Oh at Tangiers. It was a small arena and so the acoustics were so good, and they put on an awesome show. RIP Scottie!”
