He was predeceased by: his father Jack Wingert; and his brother Philip. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Starbuck (Wingert); his stepfather John Starbuck; his stepsisters, Suzanne, Jennifer and Samantha; his stepmother Patricia Lawler; and his sister-in-law Karen Wingert Pell.

In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to make contributions to an animal rescue association of your choice, as Scott was a life-long animal lover and had rescued several dogs and cats during his lifetime.
