She is survived by: her children, Richard Alan Hurwitz and Gloria Gernstein (Terry); and her grandchildren, Matthew Gernstein (Katie), Sydney Gernstein (Nicole), Aaron Hurwitz (Stephanie), Lauren Hurwitz and Chad Gerson. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
