She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Alben Boyd, Sr.; and her siblings, Beatrice Harper Hail, Stella Harper Sears, Louise Harper Petrey, Gladys Harper Taylor, Zella Harper Loveless and Evert Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Boyd, Jr. of Indianapolis, Douglas Boyd (Laura) of Indianapolis and Linda Sullivan (Wesley) of Indianapolis; her grandchildren, Sarah Ellen Sullivan, Charles Edward Sullivan and Matthew Wayne Boyd; and her brother Melvin Harper of Fredericksburg. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
