She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Brown and Anna Brown (Frank); and her husband Melvin Waks. She is survived by: her children, Anchell Waks (Peggy) of Blacklick, OH, Mark Waks (Andi) of Long Beach, CA and Robyn Weisenbach (Dan) of Carmel, IN; her sisters, Betty Lou Nevel of Chicago and Marilyn Brown of South Bend; and her grandchildren, David, Daniel Waks of Columbus, OH, Anna Gerber (Bryce) of Carmel, IN, Peter Weisenbach (Kaleigh) of Gilbert, AZ, Laura McCrory (Jacob) of McCordsville, IN, Ashten Waks (Alex Dickson) of Long Beach, CA and Graham Waks (Rachael Petry) of Nashville, TN. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in her name, to the Jewish Federation of St. Joseph Valley, or to Sinai Synagogue.
