He was predeceased by: his wife Michelle Smith. He is survived by: his children, Tanisha Garvin, Christopher Garvin (Deanna), Chelsea Thomas (Jerald) and Joseph Garvin (Essence); and his siblings, Steven Garvin and Karen Garvin Cloud. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
