He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Tipton and Bettie LeClaire (McKamey); and his stepmother Helen Tipton. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Tipton (Johnson); his daughters, Anne, Elaine, Kristi and Jenny; his grandchildren, Tyler, Michael, Callie, Brittany, Alex, Harleigh and Johnny; and his siblings, Kathy Potter and Ken Tipton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Calendar Indiana Funeral Care - Indianapolis Chapel (8151 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Calendar Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250).
