He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Dixon and Emory Dixon; his parents-in-law, Mike and Dorothy Stanich; and his grandson Gage Elijah Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Stanich Dixon; his children, William Michael Murphy and Deborah Kay Murphy; his granddaughter Samantha Barnes (Evan); his great grandchildren, Aria Grace Murphy, Cora, Olivia Collins, Norah Jean, Elijah James and Gemmah Rose Barnes; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Stanich (Kristine) and Gary Stanich (Kim).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Taeko Loundenback-WinsteadMemorial Gathering Memorial (2950 N High School Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46224).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in loving memory to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, or Indiana University School of Dentistry.
