With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan L. Mocas of Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Susan departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Susan may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Susan leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. McCord and Elennor Bernard McCord; her son Robert J. Solberg; her brother Bob McCord; and her husband Verlin A. Mocas.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Williams and Patrick Solberg; her daughter-in-law Carrie Solberg; and her grandchildren, Leah Solberg and Bryce Solberg.
