She is survived by: her husband Richard "Barry" Barndt; her daughters, Kim Barndt and Sharon Gates (Craig); her grandchildren, Kayla Oliphant, Savannah Gates, Austin Gates, Christopher Gates and Cody Gates; her nieces, Anne Gee and Beth Kerlin (Bruce); and her nephew John Kreinbihl (Jane).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Friedens United Church of Christ (8300 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46217). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
