She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Lauren Suzanne McCarty Palmer (Jeff) and Sean David McCarty (Amy); her grandchildren, Lyra Jane Palmer, Fiona Virginia Palmer, Oliver Jack McCarty and Asher Reed McCarty; her parents, Joyce Malone Scoggins and Jack Murray Scoggins; her children-in-law, Jeff and Amy; and her mother-in-law Virginia Sanders McCarty.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens & Funeral Home (1977 S State Rd 135, Greenwood, IN 46143). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
