It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Jean Ulander (Indianapolis, Indiana), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vicroy Lee and Nellie Mae Hughes (Reynolds); her siblings, Vicroy Lee Hughes Jr. and Marjorie Mae Bradley; her husband Richard; and her son Michael.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Jr., Jim (Sharon) and Beverly (Ron); her grandchildren, Asheley Ulander, Jessica Hockman, Stefani Ulander, Jimmy Ulander, Jefferey Ulander, Brandon Knight, Megan Day and Shelby Day; and her great grandchildren, Kalei, Jenna Hockman, Corbin, Devin Ulander and Avery Shepherd.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to a cause dear to your heart.
