He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. O'Hara and Leila Lee (White); his wife Mary Jo O'Donnell; his son Sean (MaryAnn); his son-in-law Danny Pierce; and his grandson Stevie McLinn.

He is survived by: his children, Kathleen (Danny), Sheila, Peggy (Jim) of Terrence Joseph, T. J., Jimmy (Natalie), Eileen (Al), Chuckie, Anne (Ron), Dennis (Marianne) and Tommy (Chris). He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
