It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore John Planje Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on May 18, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Theodore departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore J. Planje, Sr. and Miriam Planje; and his former wife Dorothy Peterson Planje. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Lange (Lee); his daughters, Alexandra K. Planje (Alexa) of Indianapolis and Elizabeth D. Planje of Danvers, Massachusetts; and his brother Curtis E. Planje of Rolla, Missouri..
