He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Black and Judy Black (Stewart); and his brother Tracy Black. He is survived by: his significant other Kim Grider of Indianapolis; his son David Black (Olivia) of Whiting, Indiana; his stepson Logan Grider of Indianapolis; his sister-in-law Karen Black; his niece Shannon Robertson (Mike); his nephew Geoff Black (Deanna); his great-niece Jaidan; and his great-nephews, Dylan of Ellettsville, Indiana. and Dakota of Ellettsville, Indiana..
