It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Joe Bonnell of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Winamac, Indiana, who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Sherald L. "Shay" Bonnell. He is survived by: his sons, Shay Bonnell (Angie), Domenick Calabrese (Tiffany), Trent Bonnell and Travis Bonnell (Jessica); his sister Charlene Planck (Jim); his sibling's children, Kevin, Corey Planck, Jeff, Kent, Brad Bonnell, Cristy Hankla (Planck) and Michelle J. Grostefon (Bonnell); and his grandchildren, Avery, Brady, Bowen, Briggs Calabrese, Audrey, Grant, Aspyn Bonnell, Carter, Connor Bonnell and Ethan Lamar.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that you send memorial contributions to the Community Foundation of Pulaski County, and designate your donation to the Sherald & Verla Bonnell Family Educational Fund. Donations may be made online, and dedicated to and in the name of Tommy J. Bonnell.
