He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Andrew and Phyllis Mary Dichmann Oliver; his sister Mary Jane Curson; and his children, Craig and Erin Oliver.

He is survived by : his wife Evelyn Sue Wolfe; his children, Walter (Brenda) of Franklin, IN, Shannon Kern of Statham, GA, Shawn (Dawn) of Conway, AR and Michele Turney (Ben) of Indianapolis; and his brother Rick Oliver (Leona) of Pittsboro, IN.. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 32 great-grand children.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (900 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis, IN 46227).
