He was predeceased by: his father Walter Griffin Jr.; his grandparents, Walter, Nellie Griffin and Isabelle Moon; and his aunts and uncles, Jessie Booker, Ernesto Moon, Walthal Griffin (Denise), Daisey Martin (James), Alice Griffin and Debra Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Deanisha Griffin; and his mother Ruth Slaughter. He is also survived by his father and mother-in-law, and host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
