It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Mayo of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Clayton, Indiana, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Mayo; his wife Gayle Mayo; and his siblings, Bernard Mayo, Sally Stranger and Sherry Mayo-Darnell.

He is survived by: his mother Mary Harris (Reed); his children, Michael Mayo, Michelle Mayo, David Mayo (Rebecca), Suzanne Alfrey (Aaron), Julie Luedeman (Josh), Ashley Reyes (Lucio), Matthew Mayo (Teresa) and Laura Mayo; and his siblings, Randy Mayo, Charles, Morris Mayo and Lois Eller. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
