He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Edward Smith Sr. and Nickie Jean Smith; and his sisters, Deborah Jean Johnson and Elizabeth Lois Rabbitt. He is survived by: his wife Michella Lynn Smith; his children, Wayne Edward Smith Jr. III and Callie Elizabeth Smith; his sisters, Connie Fay Lafollette, Brenda Darnell McCoy, Pattie Lynn Smith and Terri Lynn Smith; and his nephew Joshua Daniel Johnson.
