He was predeceased by: his parents, Weimer Hicks and Jean Hicks; and his niece Stacey Labahn. He is survived by: his wife Anita (Cruzan); his sister Susan Labahn (Jon); his nieces, Lorajo Beccari (Daniel) and Michelle Lewis (Joe); and his nephew Jon O. Labahn, Jr..
