He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Hedrick Dodge; his daughter Diane Vinup; his parents, James Dodge and Elsie Dodge; and his brother James D. Dodge.

He is survived by: his son Larry Dodge (Jeanne); his grandchildren, Lauren Ray (Riccardo), Danielle Jinkins (Chris) and Leslie Dodge (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Isabelle and Grant Jinkins; and his son-in-law David Vinup.

Contributions may be made to the Indianapolis Humane Society.
