He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jean Thomas (McKinney) and William Austin Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Thomas (Hawkins); his children, Deidria Moore (Russell), Diana Lapp, Julie Thomas and William Thomas; his stepchildren, Amanda Hawkins and Matthew Hawkins; and his brother Steve Thomas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
