He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Sweet and Ida Lee Sweet (Burns); his brother Donald E. Sweet; and his great grandchild Jonas Tucker Buchanan. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Irene Sweet (Blankinship); his children, Gary Sweet (Susan) of Canfield, OH, Tricia Tucker (Barry) of Fort Mill, SC, Tammy Sweet of Indianapolis, IN and Sharie Peterson (Mitch) of Indianapolis, IN; and his nephew John M. Sweet (Leslie) of Indianapolis. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
